The soap is where your bug protection begins. Wash with Ain’t Buggin’ Me before heading outside, then choose your spray based on what kind of day you’re having.

What’s the difference?

Ain’t Buggin’ Me Soap
This is step one. Use it in the shower before gardening, hiking, camping, walking, or spending the evening outside. It leaves your skin feeling clean and fresh while surrounding you with the essential oils bugs don’t love.

Water-Based Spray
This is your lighter, easy-spray option. It’s great for hot, sweaty days, quick touch-ups, kids heading outside, clothing, shoes, hats, and even hair. Because it is water-based, you’ll want to reapply more often, especially if you’re sweating or staying outside for a while. Your current water-based product page also says it’s great for sweaty days and can be applied to hair and clothes, but should be reapplied repeatedly.

Oil-Based Spray
This is your longer-lasting skin option. The oil-based spray creates a deeper layer of protection on the skin and is best for exposed arms, legs, ankles, and areas where you want the bug-repelling essential oils to stay with you longer. Your oil-based product page explains that the oil absorbs into the skin and works with body heat to help re-enliven the essential oils over time.
