A bushy herb that grows up to 1 meter tall in Indonesia, Malaysia and China. It is a perennial with large fragrant leaves and white flowers. The leaves were used as a deterrent to moths and insects in clothing, and the oil has been used in many well-known perfumes. Patchouli oil is said to improve with age.

How to use essential oils:

• Diffuse: Use a few drops in your essential oil diffuser.
• Internal: Do your research! Dilute 1 drop in 4 oz or water.
• Topical: Dilute 1-2 drops with carrier oil and rub on desired areas

Blends well with: Basil, Cedarwood, Coriander, Lavender, Orange, and Ylang Ylang.
